About us

Hey all, Arianna here! When I was 15 years old in high school, I started From The Pit Media in 2022, hoping to share the music I love and grew up listening to with people my age and in the younger generation. My Dad and my Uncle grew up in the Bay Area and always were playing music and in the heavy music scene and used to run Rokhedz, a similar website where they would take photos, interview, and share information about all the bands they saw. I remember hearing about my dad doing this, and when I was in middle school, I started imagining doing this myself as I found it so cool to be able to spread the heavy music I liked with more people in my generation. It wasn’t until my sophomore year of high school where I decided one day I was going to make this happen. I made some drafts of logos in my high school’s graphic design class and worked on getting a website up, and thus From The Pit Media was born! It means the world to me and my co-owner, Uriel, that you guys support us and engage with our content, and we can never thank you guys enough for the opportunities we have gotten with your support of our mission and for that, thank you guys so much from the bottoms of our hearts!
